I usually go to Blue Angel in Fort Lee, and compared to that location, this one has a smaller selection of breads and pastries, and the displays sometimes feel a little less fresh and inviting. It also seems less busy, and the location is a bit tucked away, which is a little disappointing. However, one of the main reasons I enjoy coming here is the female staff member. She is always so friendly, welcoming, and pleasant, and her great service makes every visit enjoyable. I just wish they offered a wider variety of breads and paid a little more attention to the displays. With those improvements, this could be a really great location.

I visited this coffee shop and bakery twice. I tried the strawberry matcha and the coconut matcha cloud which was absolutely delicious. You have to mix the coconut water with the matcha cloud. The place is clean, I love the central shelves with the pastries that make you want to try them all. The service is good but I felt that they were new and sometimes overwhelmed. But that didn’t affect the quality of the food. The only thing I would have loved is replacing the plastic chairs and tables with wood or something more elevated and comfortable. But overall I definitely recommend this place for the quality of their drinks.

their drinks are AMAZING! i got a large ice caramel macchiato and my friend got the caramel brulee lattee. the coffee was a great mixture of not to strong, but hitting ass coffee AND with a COLD FOAM that came with it too YESS! + the way the barista always places the caramel on top visually (i came here twice lol) the milk ratio is perfect too. i suggest if you don't prefer sweet drinks, let the cashier know so they can adjust the sweetness. sooooo many outlets and tables (starbucks across the street is so packed why not come here, study, work, and support the local businesses lol) UPDATE: i went here again recently and apparently the bathroom was unavailable 😔😔😔☹️☹️😞, drinks still take a little bit to make at time tho but still as good as before lol🤝 but YA CANT PEE😭😭

Love the pastry, love the einspänner, love the vibes 💕 I was waiting for a Korean-style bakery to open up more closer to the path station / in Jersey City, and my dream came true 😭

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Favorite Spot in Hoboken! Blue Angel Café is seriously a hidden gem. I stopped in on a whim and ended up loving everything about it. The vibe is super chill and welcoming — perfect for catching up with a friend or just hanging out with a good coffee. Speaking of coffee, it’s really good. I got an oat milk latte and it was smooth and flavorful without being too bitter or too sweet — just right. The food also hit the spot. The breakfast sandwich was fresh and satisfying, and their pastries are next-level (definitely try the almond croissant if they have it). The staff were all super friendly and down-to-earth, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they actually care about the place and the people coming in. Highly recommend checking it out. I’ll definitely be back!
